(1) Regular maintenance is required for capacitors used in industrial machines. The maintenance items include the following.
①Appearance: Whether there are obvious abnormalities such as valve opening and liquid leakage.
②Electrical performance: leakage current, electrostatic capacity, the tangent value of loss angle, and items specified in the product catalog or delivery confirmation.
2 Emergencies
(1) During the use of the equipment, when the pressure valve of the capacitor is opened and gas (white smoke) emerges, the main power supply of the equipment should be cut off, or the power cord plug should be unplugged from the equipment.
(2) When the pressure valve of the capacitor is working, high-temperature gas exceeding +100°C will be ejected, and the face should not be approached at this time. Once the sprayed gas enters the eyes or is inhaled, immediately wash the eyes with water or rinse the mouth. Do not lick the electrolyte of the capacitor. If electrolyte spills on the skin, rinse with soapy water.
3 Storage conditions
(1) Regarding the storage of capacitors, it is recommended to store at a room temperature of 5~35℃ and a relative humidity of 75%.
(To maintain good solderability of aluminum electrolytic capacitors, please observe the following items.)
1) Before use, please store it in a sealed state with a plastic bag.
2) Please open the plastic bag immediately before use, and use up the product at one time. If it cannot be used up at one time, put the remaining product back in the bag and seal it with tape, etc.
3) To maintain good weldability, please control the product storage period within half a year.
4 Disposal
(1) When disposing of capacitors, one of the following methods can be used.
①Incinerate the capacitor after opening or breaking it sufficiently.
②If the capacitor is not incinerated, it should be handed over to a professional industrial waste treatment plant for landfill and other disposal.
(2) When disposing of the capacitor (removing it from the board connected to it), check whether it has been discharged.
